Not even close to a clutch outing by Rich.

He is an every other outing pitcher. Add to the fact he can't bunt or get off the mound quickly also killed us tonight. So glad that Houston found three homeless guys to pitch against Milwaukee the next three days.

He was out but it was extremely close. His foot was about an inch from the bag when the ball appeared to hit Lee's glove.

Damn I thought Rich was going to be able to give us 7 good ones tonight.

I blame Lou, Larry, O'Neal, and Hill for this one.

Hill is hurt and it's obvious and they keep him in there.

Not only is he pitching differently mechanically, he's ineffective since then.

bang bang, could have gone either way

True, but seeing as how the past 3 calls have all gone in favor of the Reds and the fact that he was indeed out by a hair, the Cubs should have gotten the call. No doubt about it in my mind.

Agreed.

Fine, but every call against us that has been close has been called an out or strikeout. This game has had bad calls at home, first and second base tonight. That is inexcusable.

You bet your ass if that was a cubs hitter he would have been called out.

Yes, let's blame Hill for this inning. It's so much fun to bash him!!!!!

Bruno bashes Hill when he throws 7 scoreless, don't mind him.

I'm a big Rich Hill fan, but this fanclub "it's never his fault" mentality is annoying. Why shouldn't we blame Rich for that?

That's not it, he's not clutch and he only has 1 pitch and he hasn't been in the majors for at least 5 years so he can't handle a pennant race and us stat nerds need to watch a game for once and get our head out of the spreadsheets.

Lovin' the reds celebrations in the dugout, this really is there cup final and as usual we're sucking against them.

Whereas the Astros aren't even trying.

Who's bashing him?

But while we're on the subject, this mess is his fault. Is it not?

Did you not watch the 4th inning? Phillips couldn't have laid down to touch second base from where he was at.

Dink hits, an injury, and terrible umpiring? Yep, must be his fault.
