Floyd in the 4 hole makes me a little sick to my stomach, seeing as Ramirez is our most dangerous hitter (Besides maybe Sori since he's been hot) and you want everyone you can to get on base before Aram. That's not exactly Floyd's forte, but then again neither is playing baseball in general for him lately.

Oh well. Lou's shaky lineups have had a history of working out. We should rock Pineiro regardless of the lineup, but then again we should have rocked a lot of people.

As you can tell, struggling hard between bluekoolaid and terrible pessimism. Thank god for beer.

Just win.

Are we doin this?

Let's do this.

Cy Piniero - 9ip, 0h, 0bb, 26 k's.

CONSERVATIVE PROJECTION

Pessimist.

Um, who didn't K?

I'm thinking the Cubs just decided to forfeit before he recorded the final strikeout.

Also extremely plausible considering they have pretty much forfeited the last 2 weeks

We are bringing Trachsel back on 3 days rset? Are you serious?

Huh?

Yea Lou just said we are ringing Trachsel back on 3 days rest this time thru the rotation, and then we are bringing Z and Lilly back on 3 days rest next time thru.

Also sure is nice to see Floyd playing and batting clean up since Murton cant hit rightys, oh wait, he went 2 for 4 yesterday against a righty.

I'm curious to see if Ramirez batting behind Floyd will mean that Floyd gets a pitch or two to hit. If so, I'm curious to see if he does anything worthwhile with said pitches. If he gets better looks thanks to the added lineup protection and he still craps the bed, he really needs to go away. Steve Trachsel should follow him.

Im guessing 5.5 months into the season hes had plenty of pitches to hit. The fact that he gets to keep playing while others who have struggled were benched is mind boggling. Cliff FLoyd is done as a starter in MLB, and I cant believe Lou cant figure this out after 5.5 months of baseball.

He'll hit one really hard foul and then ground out to the 2b or pitcher.

Lily's on 3 day rest?

No Lilly and Z are both pitching on 3 days rest after their next start, and Thrachsel is this time thru.

He's pretty much the only other inexperienced, grit-lacking, unproven non-gamer left in the rotation, so it would make sense.

Wow, if that's true. Something has to be going on with Hills and Marshalls arms, it has to be.

God I'm so jacked for this game!

I wish Cubs baseball still gave me this amount of enthusiasm. I have a feeling it will be spring training before I get anywhere close to this again.
