... That was bad. I would've booed him too.

Bob Uecker.... Seriously?

Almost as pathetic as this team.

Almost

He was actually a pretty good sport. He said "you do the same for the Cubs"

Fantastic.

Ron Santo should do it everyday

I don't disagree, but I'd rather not pile on Ueck when I don't have to. He's actually a pretty good guy and a real good play by play broadcaster.

Floyd probably is headed to the DL now

Meet your new everyday RFer, Craig Monroe!

What's the difference?

another great outing for the cubs' 12th best pitcher.

Clearly Rich is one of the Cubs better pitchers, but statistically his numbers are a bit skewed by his April. Rich has been pretty average for most of the season.

Every one of the Cubs starters have had a ridiculous hot streak, so all of them are skewed, so Id say you can look at them pretty accurately.

What I do know is that it the season were to be decided by one game, right now, I would want Z to pitch it. If Z couldn't, I'd be torn between Lilly and Hill.

Uek gets a pass from me just for his role in Major League, he was awesome.

Monroe will get on less, but have more power. Oh and he fields a lot better.

Jeff Suppan pulled, Scott Linebrink coming in.

Suppan: 6+ IP, 1 ER, 4 H, 4 K/0 BB, HBP, 82 pitches (56 strikes). Runner at first is his responsibility.

Nice.

Suppan helped Floyd and the Cubs out immensely there. Linebrink in.

Now the 6-4-3 GIDP. Cmon DeRo... know you got it in ya.

I think Linebrink has been good, no?

We'll see.

Go back a few starts on Lilly and it should be no contest between Hill and him for that start.

Better than a K. Now lets get some runs.

DP coming is 4.3.2...

I thought you were saying that the DP would go 4-3-2, which would just be crazy

Id probably agree but Id say since Hill has been good of late and Lilly hasnt, Id take Hill 2nd

He was a good sport by coming into our ballpark and saying that?

He does it every single year. He's one of the best announcers in the history of baseball. This was never a problem before the Brewers got good, as we were either so far ahead of them we didn't care what he said or we were both in the cellar.
