New Orleans Saints=Reggie Bush Mania on ESPN. All of their "experts" picked the Saints to win the NFC Championship last year against the Bears. The Saints preseason game last week led of SportsCenter.

New York Yankees=The always seem to lead of SportsCenter. ESPN is just obsessed with the Yankees.

Boston Red Sox=Last time I checked the Cubs have a wider fan base than the Red Sox.

Cubs are always shown at the end of SportsCenter.

Barry Bonds Coverage=This year was pure hell. No one cares ESPN.

I picked the Saints as a proxy for my disgust with seemingly every ESPN radio and TV program being the equivalent of bonus editions of "NFL Live" by late July.

Every season without fail, as the baseball games mean more and more, ESPN talks about them less and less. The end result is me watching almost no ESPN programming besides the baseball games themselves.

MLB's 24/7 channel can't come soon enough.

I'd personally like to nominate the fact that every show has talked about football every day since the end of the season. I like the game. Very much. I just don't want to hear about it in April.

Did you know he caught a pass in a preseason game? ESPN will now bring you interviews from around the NFL on how TO's catch changed their lives.

I voted Yankees, but not entirely because of the overkill favoritism in coverage - they are the biggest, most popular, and talked about team, at least, so the slanted attention is somewhat justified.

I voted Yankees because of the anti-Arod bias. Absolutely Ridiculous.

I can't stand when they consider Rick Ankiel's comeback greater than Jon Lester's comeback. The guy recovered from cancer! What did Ankiel recover from?

Ankiel recovered from Steve Blass Disease. :D

Yankees. What overhyped and terrible Yankees series are they going to come up with next? Every time I see a commercial, comment, or anything else that has to to do with The Bronx is Burning, I change the channel.

Is that the tail wagging the dog, though? Would they be that if they didn't get all the press coverage?

Yeah, they probably would, but I sure as hell wouldn't mind not reading about them all the livelong day.

The ESPN bias adds to the general favoritism, but they are the biggest team anyways. The greatest history/tradition. Twenty-Six championships!! New York Market. Twice the payroll of any other team. World Series contender every year for the last 2+ decades.

ESPN does overdo it, but the Yankee's are baseball's biggest team, and partly because of that, and partly because of their own merit, they generate the sport's biggest stories.

Their general obsession with hype. Everything is the biggest, newest, greatest, coolest, mostest, bestest, overblownest, hottest, importantest, dramaticest and nowest.

It's all hype and promotion.

ESPN used to be itchy and scratchy, and now it's poochie.

how can you not like poochie? He's half Joe Camel and a third Fonzarelli.
