I cast multiple votes. I was tempted to vote for Bob D. just because I'm also a Bob D. and his story about growing up waching Ernie Banks and listening to Jack Brickhouse, Jim West, and Lou Boudreau applies to me too. I didn't give in to temptation, though. :D

If someone from the Cubs sees that video, I think a restraining order will be put out on ol' Vance.

 

After today, I could add pics of me and my nephew with Fontenot, Theriot, Wood, Dempster, and Eric Patterson.

Ultimate decision on selection of finalists and winner will be by Cubs according to these rules. Entrants agree Cubs has the sole right to decide all matters and disputes arising from this Contest and Cubs' decision is final and binding.

 

So even if we vote him in, the Cubs could decide to pick somebody else?

According to the rules, that is correct. Hopefully that's only if they feel there is a problem with one of the contestants, but the rules state that voting is only a part of the process.

 

The way I look at it, winning the vote can't do anything but help. While it isn't a guarantee....it is a big help.
