Rich Hill has one good pitch. That is it.

Somebody has to show him how to throw a good change or another offspeed pitch.

if youre going to use the second time through the lineup argument its not going to work

i don't understand all these people who need play-by-play. there are 100 sites that have some sort of gamecast.

is it that big of a deal that you have to make an extra post about it?

yeah because it happens 30 times a game, and it's obnoxious

I don't care what inning it is, you do not put in your worst pitcher with the game tied and runners on base.

When you need one out and it's the pitcher? I can handle that in the 5th inning.

Ya I wasn't too worried about Eyre facing Moyer just about anyone else though and I might have a heart attack though.

Why the heezy is Eyre in?

Lou must have had an aneurysm.

I almost had one on that soft liner by Moyer. luckily he's so strong and it carried to Jacque.

ok JJ, one miss play last night, you made up for it with squirting down the line. three miss plays tonight. you have some work to do.

It's helpful because gameday and gamecast often are behind while the posters here aren't.

Yeah, there have been several times where the inning ends and gameday has to jump 3 batters to get to it, after sitting frozen for 10 minutes, so its nice to have p-b-p that is actual play by play and not 3 plays every 10 minutes.

Watch since Eyre came in and got out of that jam, he will start getting used in meaningful situations again, regardless that he got the damn pitcher out.

okay well right there, it was three batters after roward had homered. MLB gamecast had that.

Corey Provost was sitting in for Pat that inning, and he just cemented a positive name for himself in my book...

"Moyer lines one softly to center field, Jacque Jones coming on, he SEES IT and makes the catch!!"

The emphasis was his touch, not mine. I definitely enjoyed the dig.

your posts are prickish about 30 times a day, for no good reason. seriously, truffle. yahoo is about 2 minutes behind people here. mlb's gamecast freezes my computer while i'm at work, and unfortunatly i'm allowed neither a tv (though it's the cable company) nor radio. so, being as it is a game thread after all, i refresh these threads every few minutes when i get a chance to catch up on the game. don't pay attention if you don't like my posts. matter of fact, i'd like it all the better if you put me on ignore.

For once, we agree.

The Internet is a powerful tool. Use it.
