OMG, they are saying Weeks isn't part of the deal! If not, this is ridiculous and Krivstky basically traded him for a relief pitcher in Wise? WOW

If there still time to offer the Reds Dempster and Murton

haha, Gwynn, Wise, and a prospect

Unless the prospect's Gallardo, Krivsky just one-upped his Kearns-Lopez deal.

Wow. He's making a run at Littlefield and Bowden for the title of stupidest GM in the game.

More like Pagan and Petrick.

If the prospect is Gallardo, it makes the deal look a lot better. But wouldn't Gallardo be the centerpiece in the package that the Reds would get back? Usually when trades say, "and a prospect," it usually means that it's just a fill-in to the deal.

It's way overdue for Krivsky to make a terrible deal with us.

Dunn, Braun, Fielder, Hardy, Mench.

*Puke*

i'll make you a deal. If Dunn goes to Milwaukee, you stop posting here for a year

Why? I was the first one to bring up the deal

DEAL:

Brewers Get:

Adam Dunn

Reds Get:

Gwynn, Wise and a prospect.

well you're so put off by it that I figured you'd want to take a break

Hes just passing along a link...its not like hes claiming to have insider info himself. I see no harm in it whatsoever.

i can't believe the number of posts over on that board that aren't happy with this b/c dunn doesn't hit well with risp.

from what i've read, no one is really saying who the brewers are sending (except for gwynn and wise).

I doubt the Crew would trade Gallardo.

I doubt the Crew would trade Gallardo.

Especially now. With Sheets injured, trading Gallardo even for Dunn would be really helping the Cubs cause. I would think they can hardly afford to trade away any MLB pitchers right now.

According to Yahoo Gwynn is leading off for the Brewers in about 10 minutes.

They said the may get the deal done after the game. Hopefully Hendry realizes what is going on and stops the deal.

I would have to believe that Gallardo is not considered a prospect at this point. Their best pitching prospect is Will Inman followed by Jeremy Jeffress. Knowing Krivsky though, he probably picked Manny Parra. Inman is pretty damn good.

Gwynn is officially in the lineup for Milwaukee.

Which means nothing if the deal isn't going through till tonight.

Do you really think Hendry would be able to figure it out... or do anything???

Although he did just get rid of Izturis, so anything is possible.

Supposedly Brewers radio (WSSP or something?) said that the deal would be finalized by tonight, according to a poster on the realgm link.

Someone's gotta listen to the station.
