That doesn't make sense. If they knew the deal would be finished by tonight, they wouldn't be starting Gwynn.

 

Do you think he knows about this? Hard to think he wouldn't find out.

1250 is now saying...

that they got the info from cincy 1290, the site that The Jay already reported. It seems like they report it as a rumor, so im guessing this isnt happening. Thanks again 1250.

 

The starting lineup today has TG jr. in center so i would think that if he's traded he wouldnt be starting.

Cubs won't win the division anyway. Wildcard is more likely. I like San Diego's ability to stay on top less than the Brewers, Dbacks will fade. Braves will be there, but with help, the Cubs are a better team.

Right, but the other link you'd posted speculated the radio guys were using the web as a source.

I smell false alarm. Even if the trade wasn't going to be finalized until after the game, I doubt the Brewers would play Gwynn today to protect against the possibility of his getting injured and having the trade blow up.

I think he is pretty legit.
