Quick side note, is there any competition for A-Ram as far as being the best Cubs trade since Sammy Sosa?

There shouldn't be. He's been our best player for 3 years.

The DLee trade was pretty darn good as well.

EDIT: Though I would say the ARam trade was better.

Maddux for Izturis ranks up there with Bobby Hill for Lofton and Ramirez.

D-Lee would be the only competition...

Best position player. I'd argue Big Z as the best Cubs player though during that time period.

Brewers have runners on 1st and 2nd with no outs in the 6th.

Not that it's gonna change anything, but I think it's way to early for scoreboard watching. It's the middle of July. If we take care of our business we'll eventually end up either in first or with the WC. Watching the crew everyday is only gonna be frustrating. Particularly watching EVERY inning.

Pagan in for Floyd.

Why the hell did he run the bases then?

Wow, this coming from a fan of a team that has seen the likes of Kerry Wood, Mark Prior and Nomar Garciaparra play for them in the last 3 years, but Cliff Floyd is the most injury prone player I've ever seen.

Yeah...Moises and Rondell White have to be in that discussion too. Maybe JD Drew?

Z only plays every 5 days though. I'll take Aramis.

In 2005, I think Lee has to get some credit.

It seems like Randy Winn is batting about .900 against the Cubs. He's always getting hits.
