Koyie Hill is not going back down yet.

He's in the starting lineup tonight.

So much for that. No reason to have 3 catchers up, absolutely no reason for that.

This does not bode well.

How many times have we all said this during The Hendry era?

Would anyone care if Rob Bowen were DFA'd? Because I wouldn't. Not that it would happen.

It would make Hendry look really, really bad if that were to happen. But I'd be all for it. He's crap.

Would it? All the sports talk/print guys in the city are glad Barrett's gone. They could care less who we got for him. I think he'd have cover for this one.

Wuertz maybe?

No because that would leave them still with only 11 pitchers and Lou is desperate for a 12th.

Gotta be Bowen then. Nothing else makes any sense. Bowen and Hill both suck, so I can see the logic behind sending him down since he still has options.

he's better than Koyie Hill, who absolutely sucks and is a pointless player on this team.

Both are pretty bad. How would you differentiate between the two?

BOWEN DFA'D

I guess that answers the question I asked a few times. apparently Bowen didn't have any options left. can anyone explain to me why he did not have any options left?

Hill's cub batting average is above .100. That could be one reason. Does Bowen cost more?

That makes NO sense to me, since he could be optioned instead. Unless they trade him that means they basically gave Barrett away.

I guess I'd give Bowen an edge defensively, and he has a little better plate discipline. Bowen's PECOTA numbers aren't totally horrendous, either.
