Decent outfield for the US Team. I am suprised that Harvey, Ryan isn't on there. :P

No doubt...Upton, Maybin, Bruce and Ellsbury are awesome (Rasmus...ehh).

Born: Jan. 20, 1983. B-T: B-R. Ht.: 6-1. Wt.: 230. Drafted: HS--Rio Piedras, P.R., 2001 (11th round). Signed by: Jose Trujillo.

Soto is in his third season at Iowa and has done it all at the plate this season, hitting for average and power and getting on base at a high rate. He is a well-rounded player who is solid behind the plate and at first base. The biggest improvement in Soto's hitting this year has been his increased power, which has added another dimension to his game.

And yet, we have Koyie freaking Hill on the big league club instead.

no Andrew McCutchen (PIT) ????

He has been less than stellar in AA this season (although he has been coming on of late).

Why is Soto listed under IF instead of Catchers?

Because he has been playing 1B a lot this season due to a shoulder "issue".

The organization is downplaying it, but he would be the starting catcher right now if he was really healthy. He's raking, his arby clock is already started, and he is pretty decent on defense.

By the way, how sweet of a name is Geovany Soto. Like he should be a sommelier or some sort of politician. Good times.

Considering Soto has been rehabbing a shoulder injury and just recently got back behind the plate who should they have called up?

Seeing as Geovany Soto played 2 more games at C after Koyie Hill got called up and then moved to 1B/DH, I don't think Soto was hurt when Blanco went down.

Koyie freaking Hill

I believe his middle name is dolan, not freaking.

I think you're both off, but I'm pretty sure it does start with an "F"

And does it rhyme with sucking? :D

Prior made a joke about trying to make the Futures game when he was sent down to AAA.
