Milwaukee (34-29) is facing Detriot (36-26). Suppan will go for the Brewers as Verlander will go to the Tigers. It looks to be another good day to gain a game.

The Cards will face the almighty Royals. Gritty.

except, of course, the Cubs are playing a team that is better than they are

well, hill is better than washburn, and judging by expected W-L, the cubs and mariners are about even. I really don't think the Mariners are a good team.

I talked to a Mariners fan a day or two ago, and he doesn't think they are either. He said they are enjoying the run they are on right now, but that all the fans are waiting for the lack of talent on the team to show itself, and that nobody expects anything out of this club. Hopefully it's in the next 3 days here that their fall starts.

don't get me wrong, I'm not saying the Mariners are a good team, I'm merely pointing out the Cubs are a bad one

Lose Brewers! Lose Cardinals!

The Royals used up all their runs for the rest of the month when they scored 17 against the Phillies. Don't expect them to do anything against the Cardinals.

Brutal first inning for Contreras. 35 pitches and counting and 3 runs.

Control issues.

Hawk Harrelson sounds like the Sox just died.

I'm not gonna lie...It brings a smile to my face.

Verlander is quite impressive. Good for him (as well as two of my Fantasy Teams). Let's hope the Cubs can win tonight and gain a game on the Brewers.
