i've always wondered how a pitcher calls his own pitches.

 

Well he's the one pitching, he can really throw whatever he wants, but the smarter thing to do is, shaing him off til he gives you what you want.

 

but that would take all night. throwing what he wants is dangerous, especially with barrett back there.

 

Well the hope is that they have enough of a repoire to have a basic idea what to do with batters.
