Thats what I was doing with saying Jones traded. Since Bruce seemed kinda sly about just saying nope, I think its a trade and not somebody on the DL.

The only way this *might* include Jones in a trade would be if a pitcher on the current roster is also included.

 

Otherwise, just replacing Jones' spot on the roster means the Cubs would have 13 pitchers and only 12 position players.....I don't think so!

all you really need to know is his last name. even Froemming took a back seat to Hunter's dad, and it seems to run in the family. Harry and Harry did not like each other (Wendelstedt and Carey) and Wendelstedt took thrills in taking out this personal grudge against the Cubs players.

 

I had a good feeling about this game until you pointed out who the home plate ump would be. watch the corner calls boys. it's probably not gonna be a fun game to watch. if the Cubs stand a chance it's going to be because of something we all hate, over aggressive swinging early in the count.
