Lee seems to be striking out a lot lately. Not that I'm trying to say there's something wrong, it just seems more than usual this year.

DLee is normally a 100+ K guy. Even in 2005 he had 109. Don't know his current pace but I'd be it's around normal.

at least fonz is still hot and vargas threw 18 pitches there.

i wouldn't mind busting into the brewers pen in the sixth inning

Cool. I didn't know he was usually north of 100.

That was Lee's 43rd K in 200 ABs

Last year Lee K'ed 41 times in 175 ABs

In 2005 Lee K'ed for the 43rd time in his 240th AB.

Conversely, Aramis hasn't K'd more than 68 times in the last 5 seasons. He has 33 now so he may eclipse that mark this season.

i thought you were referencing the first inning as a whole...where the cubs left runners in scoring position, and then came dangerously close to giving up a mammoth inning.

looks like we're well on our way.

Lilly has really been average after his great start....which I guess is what we really expected out of him

Last two games were bad, but only had 1 game in the previous nine where he gave up 4 runs.

His ERA + is 121.

So that's above average.
