You know what I hate? Cubs broadcast is on CSN and White Sox broadcast is on WGN.

 

Really? Didn't know both "booths" would be there. Just be happy if Len and Bob are even there. .

A couple years ago, during the Cubs/White Sox series, only the home team had the broadcast. When Cubs played at The Cell, we had to listen to Hawk & DJ.

Hope everybody has their credit cards ready. No reason why the Cubs shouldn't sweep tomorrow. All your promises of premium are written (er typed) in stone.

 

I wouldn't say no reason (Z could blow up again, and pitchers making their major league debut are usually dangerous because of the lack of scouting) but you're right, the Cubs should win this game. Tim has to be one of the most interested people in the outcome as well-that's quite a difference in his operating costs.

 

Masset isn't making his major league debut, it's just his frst major league start.

 

Ok-that makes it better, I think.

A series as emotional as this, made even moreso by their being a possible sweep at home, makes me worry about seeing Z.

yikes, hearing yet another good [place your chicago star athletes name here]/bad [chi star athlete name] makes me shudder.

 

we have good rex/bad rex, good ben/bad ben, and now good z/bad z, it would be nice to once in a while have the guy we rely on to be consistent

I have been so happy that I haven't had to put up with a ton of crap from the Cardinals fans at my school this year. I need to find the one that said he'd bet $10 that the Cardinals would make the playoffs... :lol:

Cuddyer just drove in a run with a single. 4-1 and now Bush is done.

 

5-1 after Hunter gets an infield single off Turnbow to drive in Cuddyer with 2 outs.

 

Now Hunter is on 3rd base after he gets picked off but Fielder throws it into the outfield.

Brewers lose! 5 games back now!

 

With as bad as we been the past 12 games we actually gained 3 games. I'll take it!

No way the Brewers lose today though. Ramon Ortiz is going for the Twinkies. He is the worst starter in the majors, and by a large margin.

 

Brewers are going to light him up early and often.
