Just read back to the first three pages. It's in there somewhere. I'm on the hook for 100 bucks! GO CUBS!

 

I'm also on the hook from the beginning of the season when I bet a couple Mets fans a CD,DVD, BR, or HDDVD of their choice whom ever has the better record at seasons end. Damn, was I dumb! I really didn't think the Mets staff would be this good.

I'll be at this game, and I'm not really pleased that today is the one day that this cold front is affecting. Near 80 yesterday and 80 the next few days, but 50's today.

Great, it's freakin' cold out there...our offense is gonna go into hibernation again.

 

Hopefully this will keep any HR's in the park, and Z can focus on not walking too many guys.

Out of curiosity, does anyone know how they determined that Idiot and that other guy would get the game, rather than Len and Bob?

I feel good about this game and BIG Z. I hadnt felt good about Z's starts lately. A sweep is more likely than not.

 

DLEE. He's such an awesome baseball player. Yesterday made me remember why i am a Cub fan.

i would love to see Lee play today. Sure we haven't been consistent, and we have had some sick feelings that too much remind us of past cubs teams, but is it just me or do any of you just actually feel confident they can pull out a win even when they are down or tied late? this team has a different feel to it, and now that the brewers have come back down to earth, this division feels so winnable again, we only have to outplay the brewers by 5 games the rest of the way, COME ON CUBS FINISH IT OFF TODAY, YOU GOT THEM IN THE CORNER, FINISH THE KILL!!

I think we should try out Marmol for closer..the guy can throw mid to high nineties and that nasty curveball to follow comeing out of the pen and thats what you need in a closer..I don't like him as a starter but I like this guy coming out of the pen for sure..Either setup man or closer.

It was a low-pressure inning, and I know about small sample size, but he looked good yesterday.
