We are going to get swept by the White Sox and the season is going to get even uglier from then on.

 

3 outs away from splitting a 4 game series on the road with the best team in the NL and you blow it. This is stuff that puts your season on the rocks.

 

it's a little earlier this year, but this game brings back memories of the victor diaz game.....

Well, now people can continue to rag on Guzman and say he doesn't have an big league wins.

Dempster can't get lefties out. He never has been able to. Sending Dempster in against a bunch of lefties and switch hitters = loss.

But...but he's our closer. That's what you do right? Throw your closer in the 9th no matter who's coming up. Right?

Nor can he throw strikes, never has, never will, the unfortunate fact is, save for a few rare instances, the bullpen as whole pitches behind in count. Every single one of them...
