I'm hoping it's just a AAA letdown. He's pitched better against Major Leaguers

 

He's been working on specific things at AAA - sliders and FBs to the outside corner. He's struggled with his command and control doing these things in 2 of his 3 starts at AAA.

 

That's good to know. I suspect he will pitch better as the fifth starter!

 

As long as his control returns when he's not working on specific things. :)

 

In the Majors, he will have knowledge of the hitter's strengths and weaknesses by watching tape & whatnot. Do they do that in the minors? Just wonderin..

That was the Brewers game where Prince Fielder was on base all 7 times. Francisco Cordero also got 2 saves when the next day.
