I'm not sold with Kaesvaharn as a starter. He was a good backup, but I don't think he's anything special as a starter.

I still think the D is a big weakness. I'm not a fan of KK (glad the Bears didn't pick him up). I don't have a problem with the team strengthening a strength, but I feel the Saints D really could use some help, especially at the expense of another WR.

Our D wasn't as bad as people think. Our starting corners are now Mike McKenzie and Jason David who are not great, but they are good and do the job. Our second round pick last year, safety Roman Harper got hurt earlier in the year, but before got hurt he was doing great. We just signed Charles Grant to a long term contract and we brought in Brian Simmons to shore up the LB with solid players Shanle and Fujita.

 

I'm not upset with our D at all. I think our needs were addressed in the FA.

 

This lifelong Saints fan is happy with this pick. We needed a solid third WR after Joe Horn left.

Quite frankly, I don't want Jarrett or Olsen. I'd rather have Steve Smith and Staley/Grubbs.

 

I was really hoping for Dwayne Bowe to somehow fall. :(

 

Oh, and I'm waiting for the trade down. :)
