Rolen had a career day.

Why do guys always seem to have career days against the Cubs?

Pray that Bonds doesn't tie or break the record against us.

Why not? McGwire did.

Big Z would probably give it up too.

After publicly saying he wouldn't be the one to give up the homer.

Speaking of Bonds he hit #740 today.

Cubs are going to load the bases with nobody out, the batter will hit the ball into the gap, the runner on 3rd will trip and fall and not get it up, the runner on second will trip over the runner who was on third, and the runner who was on first will trip over both of them. Edmonds will throw it into Molina and tag all of them out as they are collapsed along the third base line.

And now the Cubs decide they wont let a baserunner on 3rd with 0 outs score.

I wish this happened earlier in the year.

It happened plenty of times this year. This is just the first time they've applied the philosophy when it wasn't one of their own runners.

I am bringing a huge net for wherever he hits the record breaker..Catching that ball means youre instantly holding 5 Mil minimum

They're pros on doing it on offense. Why not do it on defense once in a while to keep things fresh?

 That's about the only way they could lose that would be more ridiculous than the ways they've already found.

Depending on how they fall, he might only have to tag one. (Second runner tripping over first runner and landing ahead of him, 1st runner out, and so on).

Despite making me want to cry, this also made me laugh out loud. With the Cubs, it's realistic.
