Sammy just went yard.

i don't care what anyone says, i'll always root for sammy. he was out there putting on a show for the fans every day.

Sammy was there for us Cubs fans when nobody else was... Real Cubs fans should be there for him now.

seriously, during a game at wrigley back in 95 or 96, he sprints out of the dugout at the start of the game and every single fan down the right foul line stood up as he passed them. he proceded to take 6 balls out of his glove and toss them to fans in the right field bleachers. it was awe inspiring.

that was a baseball player right there.

He did that in KC after each inning. Then after the game the idiot ROyals fans threw them back at him in the 9th as a protest. You know cause he corked his bat.

josh hamilton is a monster. how in the world can a player go from being in the minors three, four years ago, not play for three years, go straight into a major league starting lineup and tear things up? man alive. i would figure an addiction like his would be more debilitating on power strength, but apparently not.

We should have never done that deal with the Reds.

he would have no where to play.

would you rather have hamilton or murton?

20/20 hindsight

I think a lot of us thought it at the time.

Josh Hamilton. As our CF with Murton and Soriano on the corners.

The way he's hitting right now? Hamilton. He also has a way higher ceiling than Murton does.
