Lou hasn't really carried his good coaching into the season. I'm getting kind of sick of him already.

 

How is Lou responsible for the fact that freakin Ohman couldn't throw a strike.

 

So who made the decision to put Ohman in? He should have put in Wuertz to begin with. I'm sure everyone on here would have made that call.

 

I agree that I would have put Wuertz in due to the juncture of the game, but again, how the hell should Lou have known that Ohman would be that bad? You put a pro pitcher in and you expect them to at least throw a freaking strike,

 

Yeah, that was on Ohman, but I haven't really like Lou's decision making so far. Wuertz should be our stopper over Howry, Murton should play more than Floyd, Theriot should not go in the outfield as a defensive replacement, etc.

Why do we all have to tap dance around Z's mental makeup? Why can't we just call a spade a spade? Yeah, he has problems with his control, but its the symptom not the disease. He was doing fine with his control (one walk in the previous four innings) until he started mentally unraveling after the first two guys reached base. Then its 3 walks and a hit batter.
