At first I thought the same thing, but Guillen is difficult to understand and said it as he was leaving the press conference table. Taking into account the context of the discussion (Guillen insisting that his call was right and that he will pitch to Sosa instead of Teixeira all the time if he can) and the fact that it would be absurd to say Sosa would get plunked, its possible Guillen said, "He's gonna have to hit," or something in that vain.

 

Of course, I don't completely dismiss the fact that Guillen has acted absurd in the past...

I can understand why a lot of things would upset the Sox. They happen to really suck at the moment. But that's no excuse for a manager to publicly call for a player to be hit. That's unacceptable.

Eh. That's pretty weak. Sounds like he got excited that he belted a 3 run home run after the fans were all over him. If he didn't do anything to show up the other team, there's not much justification for post game rantings.
