Soriano has looked pretty ordinary at the plate so far this year.

 

If it's any consolation Juan Pierre has started even worse. Through 5 games he has a .325 OPS.

Isn't Derosa due up this inning?? He could tie the game with a leadoff grand slam.

Next time we play Capuano, I'm calling up a bookie and laying my life savings on the Brewers.

But that's going to be the day when Capuano can't hit the strike zone and the Cubs will break out of their offensive slump with 15 runs on 22 hits.

It seems like Capuano throws the first two pitches right down the middle of the plate, where they should get hammered, then throws a bunch of crap three feet off the plate until the Cubs swing at one and strike out or pop up.

The CG effects in this Hinrich/Chevy commercial may be the worst in the 21st century. That was flat-out pathetic.
