I'd imagine it would take 2-3 starts in Iowa at the very least before Prior is called up to the big league club.

 

Agreed. Prior has to be able to throw more than 4 innings a game before he's going be be called up to the big club.

 

Hendry has said he won't even make a AAA start until his arm strength is worked up enough to allow him to throw 5-6.
