He came in, had a few curt words for Dempster, then walked away.

Theriot wasn't quite as bad as Walker out there, but still, yeesh.

5-0 Mets over STL

haha. I LOVE IT! I hope the cardinals do terrible this year. I want to see the cards fans squirm. (not likely, but one can hope. eh?)

Man.. gotta stick around for the press conferences..

That was amazing. He wasnt throwing strikes. Lou just came out.. yelled, looked pissed. You could see him spitting while he was talking.

Pure gold. I'm speechless.

Luckily DeRosa had those RBIs to make it a 3-run game. It was entirely too interesting as it was. I probably would have had an aneurism already if it were only a 1-run game.

CUBS WIN!!!

Just thought I'd drop in. Great game for Lilly. He really looked impressive. And you have to love Lou coming out and yelling at Dempster. I'm sure that's not going to be the last time we see that.

Can you let us know what Lou says in the press conferences. Had to watch the game on MLB.tv so I can't see them. I'd love to hear about his stroll to the mound in the 9th. :D

I think that was more fire and emotion than Dusty showed all of last year.

I love the striking difference between him and dusty. Dusty just lets the players play and makes excuses. Lou MAKES the players play and takes and gives blame when it doesn't happen. THAT is what a manager should be!

Cubs win and I make my 1000th post..............omen............you be the judge :D

or a planned job?

Nah - I didn't know for sure they were going to win.

Honestly, that mid AB mound conference puts me 100% a Lou believer.

That was great. And he didn't spend a lot of time making his player look bad. Had his say and moved on. Great work.
