They've been tossing him the ball out of the backfield a bit too. I'm liking that.

Oh yes, despite the scouting reports, Benson can catch...

I think that Benson not being good at pass coverage was started as a way to explain TJ getting more carries without saying that he's more veteran and wasn't a holdout and everything else that has impeded Benson, and after that wore of it stuck around because it's in the Joe Buck/Troy Aikman Bears game script. I swear both playoff games have the same non play calling talk near word for word.

I think it may have been the Seahawks divisional playoff game when Grossman had all day to pass and hit Berrian for a huge bomb, Benson was the running back. And later when he had no time TJ was in there.

I think I had my first sports-related dream last night in which the Bears lost either in the Super Bowl or in the NFC Championship game...to the Eagles. Kinda weird. But I'm pretty sure that's my first one.

I don't think it's going to hit me until Saturday evening. Sunday morning and afternoon are going to suuuuuuuuuck.

I'll probably drinking, so not so much for me. :D Of course, I'll like to be decently sober for this game so I can have all my attention concentrated.

I had a dream before the Saints game I was at my parents house and there was a party going on and I couldn't quite see the television but I kept hearing that things were going bad and that the Bears would probably lose.

I can only hope I have a similar dream this time.

chicagobears.com[/url]"]Health update: The only Bears player on the injury report for Super Bowl XLI is receiver Mark Bradley (ankle), who’s listed as questionable. However, Bradley was able to practice with the rest of his teammates Wednesday at the University of Miami in Coral Gables.

All three players on the Colts injury report are questionable: cornerbacks Nick Harper (ankle) and Bob Sanders (knee) and linebacker Keith O’Neal (rib). Of the three, only Harper did not practice Wednesday.

I'm sure Jerry would rather have Lovie. Too bad Lovie would rather have Chicago.

He can have Rivera if he wants him after the season is over. That would be a dream job for Chico.

The Cowboys may want Ron Rivera.

Of course B&B on the Score took the delay in the decision to think that this meant the Cowboys were going to go after Lovie.

Really, it was Hub who was fanning the flames on that one.

BTW - I can't say I'd be completely disappointed if Lovie went to the Cowboys for multiple first rounders and Rivera took over as head coach. Of course, I'd love to keep Lovie around. But in the NFL, multiple first round picks are huge.

Just for sake of discussion...Imagine adding 4 first round talents to this team in the next two years. Of course, one or more could always bust.

Not that we don't already have enough pictures of the Bears in Miami on here, but a friend of mine that goes to Miami took these and I figured I'd pass them on.

How did that work out for the Raiders? I think that's a disastrous idea. It doesn't suprise me to hear Hub Arkush thinks its a good one.....he's another guy who has been wrong about Lovie and wrong about this team the entire time.

Several interviews this morning, aired on NFL Network. Long interview session with Lovie. Talked about his coaching philosophy, brushed off criticism of Rex, talked about family back home...

Urlacher took the stand, wiping his eyes every few seconds like he just got out of bed (it was, after all, 6am in Florida)----reiterated he doesn't think he's in Butkus or Singletary's league yet, says he doesn't feel the need to talk to Rex because he's shown he knows how to get out of a slump and rise to the occasion.

Just alot of the same old, same old. I'm ready for the game. I can tell the players are too.
