I am so sick of the Rex Grossman bashing. He's been alright in the playoffs. He was better than any QB the second round. He was also good enough last week. Look, people have to remember he's still should be considered a rookie. Its his first full season as a QB and his team is going to the Super-bowl. That should be pretty amazing to any sports fan, hands down.

Forgot to mention, haven't seen if anyone has already posted it, but Ruben Brown will be going to the Pro Bowl.

He's so solid, despite his age. You can trace the turnaround of the Bears back to when Angelo acquired Tait, Brown, and Freddy Miller. Before that we had trouble blocking anyone.

Fred Miller was great for the Titans most of the time he was here, but he and Brad Hopkins had no answer whatsoever for Freeney and Mathis.

The frequent thing that would happen is the Colt DEs would just run right around the older, slower tackles.

You are correct though about him, when he's not facing a speed freak, he's great.

Nah, he's got over 20 games under his belt now, plus playoff games, plus 4 years in an NFL system.

Rex is no rookie. That said, I maintain his youth and relative inexperience give him upside you won't find with many 4-year vets.

I agree. I really hope he has a fantastic game, wins the Super Bowl MVP and shuts everyone up.

I think one of his solid 220 yard, 2 TD, 0 INT games would probably take it, unless Hester ran a couple back or one of the defensive guys or RB's had a MONSTER game.

i thot everyone was saying for grossman that if he got us to the superbowl, that that would shutup all the critics?

It only added fuel to the fire. Apparently someone started the "Worst QB ever in a Super-bowl" & "Most lop-sided QB Match-up" and it went on.

Both teams are under pressure to perform and they certainly do not need the media or anyone else to explain it to them. Regardless of what is or is not being said, both teams are under pressure at this point.

Proof that the media is trying to take over everything, even though the Colts are following the rules:

That's just silly.

You can't expect the media to miss a day of hype. Plus, with an 8:30 pm interview session they might miss dinner.

 It's still silly. If I were the Colts, I'd arrive an extra day late just to make 'em more mad.

What's the penalty for showing up late I wonder?

Penalty is forfeiture of the game. BEARS win the Super Bowl!

I don't think that Bears fans would be very happy about that either-there's simply no satisfaction ain a win by forfeit.

The opposing team automatically starts every drive at the offending team's 25 yard line :D

I heard from a friend of a friend that Peyton is having a procedure on his thumb and the earliest they could get it done is early Monday morning. Thus the delay.
