Poor LA with no NFL teams. Sounds like the Chargers plan on staying somewhere in San Diego, though National City, Chula Vista and Oceanside (the bidders) are not better options than just building a new stadium right next to Jack Murph....err, Qualcomm Stadium.

The Padres got lucky to get Downtown/Gas Lamp. I agree that Mission Valley would be better for the whole county than one of the extreme ends of the county.

No, National City and Chula Vista are the southernmost incorporated cities before Tijuana while Oceanside is on the border of Camp Pendleton (i.e. closer to Orange County than Downtown San Diego).

It's pretty much a foregone conclusion at my school that this game is a pushover, mainly because of the score earlier in the season. Of course they forget that Grossman was riding his hot streak, which he is definitley not anymore, and they also don't remember that the Seahawks were coming off some serious injuries.

 

This should be a good, close, game to watch. And to tide me over till 3 when the Chargers game starts.
