Did Bynum remind anyone else of a black version of Hans from "The 'Burbs"?

You've got a keen eye for obscurity, nicely done

Wow, losts of productive conversation here...who is not on Baltimore's 40 man roster that we should be interested in?

Their Top 20 prospects for 2007 from Baseball America. Pretty sure none of them are on their 40-man

Erbe and Reimold look to be good to look after

I doubt the Cubs get a top-10 prospect from the Orioles for Bynum. I'm expecting a Carlos Perez-type.

From the Trib...

The Cubs acquired minor league right-handed pitcher Kevin Hart to complete Wednesday's trade with Baltimore. The Orioles received left-handed hitter Freddie Bynum.

Hart, 23, has a minor league record of 20-19 with a 4.51 ERA in three seasons. He has 318 strikeouts in 329 1/3 innings.

Originally drafted by Baltimore in the 11th round of the 2004 draft, Hart led the Class A Carolina League in innings pitched in 2006. His 27 starts ranked second in the league, while his 122 strikeouts ranked fourth.

Doesn't get injured, has a live arm. A little old for his levels, but there's a chance he could be decent, I guess.

Good trade regardless.

Something for nothing. I'm happy.
