I don't get it. To me it's so obvious Benson is way, way better.

I appreciate what TJ has done. I really do. But he's not even close to Benson's level of talent and ability, IMHO.

To me it's clear as day.

C. Benson - 5 carries for 35 yards: 5 ypc

R. Grossman 1 carry for 22 yards: 22 ypc

T. Jones 7 carries for 18 yards: 2.6 ypc

More runs for Rex!

i wish he would do that more often.

Double co-sign. 8-)

So who makes the decision on who plays on offense(RB)

Turner or Lovie?

Turner on a play-by-play basis once the game starts, but Lovie would make the call to switch Benson in as the starter---with input from the other coaches.

Bears fans, I'll make you a deal. We'll take Ron Turner from you and you can have John Shoop in return.

What is UC Davis's OC like?

I don't know if we should be talking about this in this thread. :D

He's pretty good. We usually have a very good offense. Running backs have been hit or miss for the past few years (and we've had injuries there as well - at one point last year we were starting our fourth string RB) which has made our offense a bit one dimensional at times. The offense in general isn't usually a problem.

Next year should be interesting because we're losing our three year starter at QB as well as our top wide WR who is one of the best we've ever had.

This is even a bigger issue(Benson vs. Jones) than the Rex vs. Griese debate. We really don't know what Griese can do. We do know what Benson can do, rip off 3-5 yards on every touch. Not using that is doing an injustice to the team.
