Ummm... what the hell was that Bear doing running in there to touch it - or act like he was gonna touch it - for???

Nothing but bad things can happen from stuff like that!!

Uh what the hell was that Worrell guy doing???

A St. Louis player had touched it already (accidentally). At that point the bears can pick it up and get a free run....basically the worst case scenario is the ball is the bears where it was touched, best case scenario he runs it for a TD

This is even a bigger issue(Benson vs. Jones) than the Rex vs. Griese debate. We really don't know what Griese can do. We do know what Benson can do, rip off 3-5 yards on every touch. Not using that is doing an injustice to the team.

The most carries Benson has had in a game this year is 14 and that was in a blowout against Buffalo. Jones has had just two games with less than 14 carries this year and only 3 with less than 20 carries.

Benson may or may not be better and I obviously haven't watched him as much as most Bears fans probably have but it's the number of carries is what jumps out at me. They just haven't given Benson a shot to get a majority of the carries to see if he can carry the load.

The worst case scenario is that a Rams player never did touch the ball and Worrell costs the Bears the game.

There's nothing to be gained from it, but plenty to lose.

And that's two weeks in a row that he's done that.

lol, a rams player DID touch it thats why he did it. and there is something to be gained from it, if he picks it up after they touch it nothing but good can happen. the worst thing that can happen is the bears get the ball where he picked up...

There are five Rams around that ball. And what if the refs miss it? Then Lovie has to blow a challenge just to get the ball back. Where would Worrell run with it? The ball was completely surrounded.
