no way, Romo is way too great to intentionally ground the ball

Your Romophobia offends me, sir.

Comes down to Gramatica! The desperation Tuna move last week to get some kicking help!

Oh, the drama!

Worthless Cowboys defense. Dallas is gonna win this game by 3 points and I'm going to lose my bet.

Yup. Just as I thought.

And I posted this right when NY tied the game.

Giants handed them the game and should miss the playoffs for this garbage. Might as well avoid a first round loss in the playoffs anyway whats the point.

This franchise is done without Barber for at least 2 years anyway. Coughlin have fun as an assistant you moron, take your goons with you.

Cowboys remaining schedule is junk. I'm saying it right here: they win out and finish 12-4.

Which means the Bears can't lose more than 2 of their remaining 4 games to maintain HFA.

If Denver wins tonight, there will be a 4 way tie for the 6 spot in the AFC (Kansas City, Jacksonville, Cincinnati, Jets). If Denver loses, there will be a 5 way tie for both the 5 and 6 spots. This should really be an interesting race in the last 4 weeks.

In the NFC, the wildcard spots are possibly even worse. The key to this is Carolina tomorrow night. If they win, they have the 5 spot for now at 7-5, and the Giants and Atlanta will be 6-6 tied for the 6 spot, followed closely by Philadelphia, Minnesota, San Fransisco, and St. Louis at 5-7.

If Carolina loses tomorrow night? The 5 and 6 spots will be a 4 way tie between Carolina, Philadelphia, the Giants, Atlanta with Minnesota, San Fran, and St. Louis one game back.

So-which 2 teams in each conference make it out if you had to predict today?

Who cares any team that isn't garbage and won't hand them a game will beat them in the playoffs. There not that good.

Edit: I'm reffering to the Cowboys.

Philly

now I am not really disagreeing that HFA isnt' a lock, but are you watching the same NFL I am? I would think the Bears have an easier time of it from here on out.

who has the tie breaker anyway? Bears haven't lost to an NFC team yet, so I would think they do, so the Bears can lose two game with Dallas winning out and still have HFA

OK. Who in the NFC is better than the Boys right now?

I'll still say the Bears. Maybe Seattle, but I don't know if I really believe in them again yet. That D looks really leaky. Grossman absolutely ripped them to shreds----they're suspect.

Not N.O. Not Carolina.

yes, that's what I said.

You think NO, Atl, Philly, Det isn't easy? Who among those clubs will deliver a loss to Dallas? I guess I still think NO are pretenders----I'm thinking Dallas exposes them handily.

By DVOA, the Bears have an easier schedule tahn Dallas down the stretch, but DVOA doesn't account for catastrophic injuries (referring to McNabb).

TB kicked a short FG as time ran out to lose to the Steelers 20-3. So lame. Congrats guys, you avoided a shutout. I'm not bitter about losing my shutout in 3 of my fantasy league or anything :D

I misread what you wrote at first. but I honestly think that Atl has a better chance of beating the Cowboys than StL does against the Bears.

here's another way to look at it. Bears can clinch HFA next week.

I like looking at it that way 8)

Also heartwarming: Stl just got punked by Arizona in their own building.

I've watched as many Saints games as I have Cowboys, and the Saints scare me. Their defense can be leaky, but the Saints offense is very, very good. If Colston and Horn get healthy, they are very dangerous!

Indeed, 375 total yards today WITHOUT Colston and Horn. That's a great great offense. Plus, they are becoming more deadly every week because Bush is finally figuring out how to play in the NFL; he's figuring out that you can't run side to side, but have to run down the field. Instead of relying so much on his speed, he's now utilizing his juking and avoidance ability for positive yardage.

Their rush defense which had been their principle defensive concern looked great today, holding the Niners and Gore to only 57 yards.

GEAUX Saints!
