I didn't know what thread to post this in, but I mind as well do it here. At http://www.store.reebok.com you can get 40% off from today until Sunday of any apparel, be it jerseys, hats, etc. All you have to do is enter 598839 at the checkout.

See, Packers fans are good for something

$50 for a jersey after shipping? Not too shabby.

I don't like how Reebok makes their replicas, though. I don't like the collar and the arms are huge. They also seem to run big.

The Jets are 25th in overall offense at 2626 yards.

They are 31st in overall defense at 361.1 yards per game.

They're +1 in the turnover ratio, which puts them somewhere middle of the pack (there's a few with the same ratio, like the Giants, Cinci, and Jacksonville). By comparison, the Bears are +7, even with the two really bad games of Arizona and Miami.

I absolutely do not understand why this team is 5-4. But I hope the Bears figure it out, and quick. The numbers don't make much sense, and I'm sure many other teams like the Patriots took them lightly because of their rankings.

I just wonder if people are overlooking them and then playing down to their level because their stats really stink. That would suck for the Bears to lose to a club like this by underestimating them.

It's their close games-8 of their 9 games have been 8 point or less games, and they have won 5 of those games. The other game? They got drilled 41-0 by Jacksonville, which is a big reason their stats are farther down then they probably should be. They have simply managed to play at exactly the level of their opponents every game. They did it against the Colts (with the help of an onside kick recovered, multiple 4th down conversions, and a kickoff return for a TD) and the Colts just barely survived.

I don't think the Bears will have much problem with the Jets-the Jets rely on their short to intermediate passing game to survive, and I can see the Bears just completely shutting that down. I think it will be a Bears blowout unless the Jets find the way they have all season to make some sort of crazy play to stay in it.

Looks like Berrian is going to go this week. It's funny to think of the Bears having a logjam at receiver but they do.

I'd like to see Berrian and Bradley lining up together on the same side of the field. =P~

It's got to be just crazy plays and luck, because teams that rank that low sometimes don't have more than 2 wins at the end of the entire season.

Ranking-wise, this is far and away the worst team we've faced this year. Yet they just beat the Pats, and are over .500.

Trap game?

I sure hope not. And I hope the Bears aren't looking ahead to the Pats, either. Because a win against the Jets will almost make that Pats game meaningless, since we would still come out of our toughest stretch 9-2, heading into what can only be considered an easy final 5 games of the year.

Time to move on from the Giants game.

Bears are now 7 point favorites over the Jets, last I saw was 5.5.

This could be the battle of letdown games. The Jets coming off a huge road win over their biggest nemesis, and the Bears coming off a huge road win over their closest conference opponent.

The Jets don't pressure the QB much, but they got to Brady. And everybody around here is talking about this magnificent new scheme put in place during their bye week. Jets fans and media is extremely confident about their chances. Three weeks ago they were assuming the loss, now they are pretty confident in a win.

Here's an article on this magnificent new scheme, and about how they're going to blitz the pants of Rexy.

And if you're crazy like me and think the weather has something to do with qb performance, there is no rain in the forecast for East Rutherford this Sunday. With Berriam back, I don't see anyway the Jets can hang in this game with the Bears offense, much less the defense.

Sweeeeeeet. Let's hope they're not rushing him back, we need him for the playoffs... :D

Packers and Vikings lose (I think they both have very losable games) and Bears win, magic number is 1 :D

Holy Crap is right! We could have this division easily wrapped up by The Vikes game on 12/3. Amazing.

Anyone find any game day Bears vs. Jets pictures BTW? I can't find any.

They haven't played too terribly many times over the years, so I'm not surprised that any pictures that exist online of them would be buried.

Viqueens can lose, but Packers must win.

You guys will win the division anyway...just let us beat the Pats

I'm torn. I'd like the magic number to be 1, but it might be even more beneficial for the Bears to catch the Pats on a 3-game losing streak.

If the Bears were to blow it and lose to the Jets, then I'd REALLY like to see the Pats coming off a 3-game bender.

Interesting tidbit: Rex has thrown more TD passes so far this season than Leftwich has thrown in any season in his career.

I was one of the people that wanted Leftwich really bad when we had that #4 pick.

Ditto for me.

I was very, very wrong.

Pumped for the game this weekend...hey, I'll be in MA the weekend after.......

Sounds like Hester will be out there for kickoffs on Sunday. And apparently Tommie Harris injured his left hand in the Arizona game and is still recovering from that. He was also listed on the injury report earlier this week with a back injury, but he has since been removed.

Wesley is doubtful and Joe and Reid are questionable.

I think Leftwich got a raw deal in Jacksonville, and I think if he does end up not playing another game in a Jaguars uniform, he'll have the opportunity to start elsewhere. He's no Joey Harrington, come on.

You know, some people I was watching the Giants game with started complaining about Grossman...all I could think about was how much more confident I feel with Grossman at the helm than a Kyle Orton, Chad Hutchinson, Jonathon Quinn, etc.

Some [expletive] media type person said something like: "Kyle Orton did what he was supposed to do, not lose games. Grossman can lose you games"

God, I wish there was some emoticon to express my reaction to that.

I'd probably take Joey Harrington over Leftwich. I think Leftwich still has a chance to resurrect his career, but it's going to be hard. Colts fans are hoping Garrard struggles big-time the next two weeks so they'll put Leftwich back in to face us. The thing with Leftwich is he's pretty immobile, and he's not very accurate with his throws. That makes it so he makes some good plays down the field, but he gives up many big plays to the defense in the form of sacks and turnovers. He doesn't make enough good plays to make up for the bad plays on a week to week basis.

a raw deal? he played in 15 games as a rookie. you bring up Harrington. kind of ironic the guy Harrington is starting in front of is the same guy that most people compared Leftwich to when he was coming out of college.

I agree 100% about the Grossman/Orton comments.

Leftwich also brings the ball down to his friggin' KNEES every time he throws. There's long windups, and then there's Leftwich. I'm not sure how many times he fumbles when trying to throw, but if I was coaching DLine against the Jags I'd have my guys grabbing for his arm every time.

I wanted the Bears to take a shot at him when he was coming out. Right now, I'm glad we didn't.
