and i reaslly don't see what makes manning better than rex. they look like the same type of QB only manning has a gigantic preying mantis to throw the ball to.

Haha, nice visual. It is true though. Always nice for Manning to be able to throw off his back foot and have Burress bail him out. Rex does not have that luxury.

manning throws a lot of 500 balls, that's for sure.

Manning is not great, I will admit. Grossman is pretty awful though.

Grossman is awful? Right.

I meant as of late.

You mean 2 out of 8 games?

This game has me very worried. Don't want no losin' streaks, and I think losing Bernard Berrian is much worse than most people think it is.

He and Grossman were on the same page like no other receiver.

Smith said receiver Mark Bradley is ready to return from a high ankle sprain and didn't seem too interested in moving Rashied Davis into the starting lineup opposite Muhsin Muhammad when asked about that possibility.

Bradley has played a bit role in two games, making one catch for five yards on the season, while Davis appears to have the speed and guts necessary to make an impact in Berrian's place.

Justin Gage, who entered the game when Berrian went out, had a costly fumble and doesn't appear to have much of a future with the Bears.

I'd like to see them throw Hester out on the field a couple times, even if it's just to be a decoy.

I hope Bradley can stay healthy. I think he can make an impact in the passing game if he was suited up long enough to play a few series of downs.

Gage can leave now.

Bears,

Plz beat the Giants.

One of the few times Cowboys, Skins, and Eagles fans will all be rooting for the same thing, no doubt.

I also heard Clayton say this morning that, while Strahan is saying he'll be back in 2-4 weeks and the NY papers are reporting the same, the kind of injury he has is very serious and almost always ends the player's season.

Just reporting what I heard, that's all.

Yeah, elsewhere (don't remember where), I read that it could keep him out for 8 weeks.

GREAT to hear Bradley will be playing.

Can't keep this off the front page...

Any lines up yet for the game?

EDIT -

Bodog has us at +2.5... Which isn't saying much since they tend to give the home team ~3 pts.

USA Today says it opened at Giants -1, and is between 2 and 3 right now. I'm pretty sure I saw 3.5 once, and I think the tighter spread is because of Strahan's health.

From what i remember Bradley and Berrian were neck and neck. A lot of raves about Berrian but still Bradley wasn't off the radar. It wasnt a given that BB was the starter this year. Bradley can be dangerous. From the little i saw in him last year, he was mounds above what i saw in Gage. Even thous sheed is looking like a playmaker i dont like him lined up outside. I know sheed doesnt get much attention but the dude is a playmaker, just not on the outside. He can utilize his quickness and agility more on the inside. He's like a troy brown, deion branch type guy. Id like for him to be more part of the passing game plan doing the short an intermediate routes.

Madden 07 has Bradley rated quite a bit better than Berrian.

So if Bradley proves himself in BB's absence do you guys think it will make him a prominent third option in the offense?

Maybe. I don't want to disappoint everyone, but from what I've heard Bradley's knee + ankle has slowed him down a little. So I'm not real confident we will be getting last year's Mark Bradley. That's real unfortunate too, because the kid had some good quicks.
