NIU down 17-0 at half. Once again, the defense is stopping Wolfe by putting 8 and 9 in the box and Horvath (as usual) can't take advantage of it. A lot of my friends who make up a good part of the student section at NIU started chanting "NIC-HOL-SON" after Horvath threw a pick.

They arent stretching the field vertical worth a damn without him. The running game still looks good. The passing game today isnt doing much.

Maybe some of it is just the wind, but Bacher has looked bad today. A lot of underthrown passes (two which would otherwise have been TDs) and another really bad decision on first down a little earlier.

 

It's all valuable experience for next year, though.

Missouri looks very avg. and like an Alamo Bowl team or worse. They shouldn't expect to win next week either.
