Oh my goodness. Tyrus just had one of the most ridiculous dunks (well, throwdown, really) you'll ever see.

Unless you keep watching Tyrus play, of course.

Crowd go nuts?

As did the announcers. They couldn't believe it. He threw it down over two guys from about five feet away. Tyrus' hand never touched the rim, though.

The Nets are now blowing out the Knicks and the Raptors beat the Pistons at home.

Hahaha. Wallace with the turnaround fadeaway jumper to end the half. Bulls with a 56-42 lead.

Gotta take care of bidness against possible Playoff foes on the road that are no doubt worse than us, never a good proposition for the Bulls.

At Jersey scares me. Kidd and Carter have been playing well of late. Hopefully that Cavs slip up and make that game unimportant.

We will lose that game at NJ. I want no part of them in the playoffs. We just don't match up well with them at all.

You'd rather face Miami in the first round than New Jersey? Bulls' strength matches up well with Jersey and the Bulls are too deep. They'd win in 5.

Miami, OTOH, I want no part of in the first round.

Eh. Over their last last 5 games, they've squeaked by the Wizards twice, been blown out by the Cavs and Bulls, and beat the Knicks with a huge 3rd quarter after trailing to them at the half at home.

I don't think it'll be that big of a deal. And this time, the Bulls will have Wallace, Thomas, and Nocioni, none of whom played against the Net last week.

Yes because I don't want to lose because we can't stop Vince Carter and Richard Jefferson. I think we would smoke Miami.

Well, they did just beat NJ a week ago by 30 in Chicago, but lost the previous 2 matchups vs. the Nets.

And yeah, I agree with the above that the Bulls would beat the Nets in 5 or 6 at worst. Simply a much better team.

We can't beat them in NJ. So we would have to be perfect at home. IMO they beat us if we play.

Bulls could certainly take NJ at home, or on the road. NJ has some nice talent, but they certainly haven't faired well against good competition of late. Outside of Washington, they really haven't beaten a real playoff team since Feb. Their home record is only 23-17, and 28-21 in conference. On average, they give up more points than the score. NJ is NOT an average team at best.

Also don't forget, we should have easily won the other two games against them. We had 18 point leads in both games before we started to get lazy and threw up some bad shots. I'd much rather play a New Jersey team that is very front-loaded than play a Miami team that has great depth.

If we were to play Miami, that series probably goes all seven and I probably wouldn't be too confident that we could beat them in a seven game series. New Jersey, on the other hand, I think we can take them in 5.

I agree completely about Bulls in 5 over NJ, and I'd much rather face the Nets over the Heat. Miami doesn't scare me, but Nets-Raptors is a much easier path to the Eastern Conference finals than Heat-Pistons.

Bulls are 19-7 since the All-Star break. Angst over a road game at New Jersey seems pretty silly.

Part of it is I loathe Kidd, Carter, and Jefferson. I hope you are right.

I totally agree. It's a road game against a team we should dominate. If we can't win that, then I guess the 2 seed wasn't meant to be. Winning our last 2 looks to be a must -- there will be no excuse for not getting the job done though. It's a woefully depleted Washington team and a NJ squad that matches up poorly against us.

BTW, NJ looked completely overmatched against Cleveland last week and we match the Cavs punch for punch. We can't make excuses about the schedule, it should be 2 wins and the 2 seed for the Bulls or there's no one to blame but ourselves.

I fully expect the Bulls to win their final two games. If they lose one and finish the season at 49-33, I'll tip my cap to the Cavs (assuming they win out) and look forward to knocking Miami out in 7. I can't get mad at the team for going 20-8 after the break if it happens.

Ugh. I just read that the Bulls have lost 13 out of 14 at Washington and have lost ten straight at New Jersey. Turn it around starting today Bulls.

Crap. I should know better than to rely on ChicagoSports.com's schedule. They're less reliable than Wallace at the FT line.
