I'd be happy to be wrong. Do you honestly see this team doing damage in the playoffs?

Given home court and health, I think the Bulls can beat any team in the East in a 7-game series.

Agree. I fully expect them to win a minumum of 1 series. I guess I'd consider that "doing damage".

They're sitting at 5 right now. I don't think it's reasonable to assume home court at this point.

They have home court right now because they have a better record than the 4th seed Toronto, and they are closer to the 3 seed than losing that home court advantage over the Raptors.

Perhaps, but there are still games left to be played. Like I said, home court can't be simply assumed right now.

Well, if he thinks that they are going to win a playoff series, he probably thinks they will be good enough to not drop spots in the conference. The worst that I can possibly see the Bulls finish is 6th, and they'll probably be in the top 5.

In the past 2 years the Bulls have finished the season strong. I don't see that being different this year. I don't think you can assume they'll have home court, but I think its more likely to happen than not. Regardless, I think they'll at least get out of the first round.

i'm annoyed that there are still so many games left. all this playoff talk and we still have 5 or 6 weeks of regular season

No one's assuming a thing, we're just making prediction.

The Bulls have finished strong the past few seasons and already have home court advantage.

Yes, I see this team doing damage in the playoffs.

Has Darko managed to vaguely redeem himself yet or is he still a huge bust?

He's still a bust, but he's been having a solid year with Orlando, I believe.

Good win tonight. Relatively easy four game stretch coming up with 2 against Boston, 1 against Philly, and 1 against Memphis.

Have the Bulls had a close game in Florida this year? The TNT announcers were saying something about that on the broadcast. First Heat game, blowout Bulls win. 2nd Heat: blowout Heat win. Orlando last night: blowout Bulls win.

The first Orlando game after the first Heat game, they beat us by 15 and we never really challenged them.

Bulls up by 14 with five minutes to go in Boston. This game and the home game vs the Celtics should both be double digit wins. Very balanced scoring tonight from the Bulls as well, with Gordon, Hinrich, Deng, and Wallace all in double digits.

They could still theoretically get to 50 wins, they only need to go 13-4 in their final games. As impressive a stretch that would be, its not undoable, considering how well the Bulls, for the most part, have played since the All-Star break.

Gotta get that 3 seed. Playing in the first round without homecourt advantage can't happen.

He is the Sam Bowie to DWade's Jordan.

Favorable schedule coming up:

3/13 - vs. Boston

3/14 - @ Phi

3/17 - @ Mem

3/20 - vs. LAC

...then it gets tougher: Den,Ind,Por,Det,Cle

Need to win these 4 upcoming games to roll into that tough stretch with some momentum. April looks so-so in terms of difficulty.

I'll be there tomorrow, hooray for St. Patricks Days shirts!

Related, I will be unable to go to the game on 3/20, can anybody use my tickets? PM me.

except that Wade was picked 5th, not 3rd (that was Carmelo).

I think his point stands.

So are the Cubs trainers working on Noc or what? I thought this guy was supposed to be back "right after the All Star Break"
Posted

He came back for a game right before the All Star break and re-aggravated the injury. I hope he's back in time for the playoffs. This team will do damage with a healthy Nocioni.

I've heard he needs orthodics to alleviate the problems while being on his feet all the time.

Wasn't Barkley 5th that year?

The Bulls aren't exactly having an easy time with the Celtics at the UC.

I blame those jerseys.
