Nice win, Ben Wallace had a huge game.

Gotta agree with Mark_R. I really would like to see TT get some time in the game, I thought he had gotten into Skiles' good graces at the end of the first half but I guess not. Thabo at least got a few minutes, but come on.

Flames, it looked like Hughes was trying to foul at the start of the possession itself. He needs to know that he needs to do more to commit it in that situation. That's Larry's fault.

So if you could go back right now, would you still draft Thomas..over Roy?

3, 4 years down the road is when you make this highsight assessment, and I'd have kept Aldridge before I would've drafted Roy.

It's been awhile since I mentioned it, but I REALLY wanted Aldridge.

I just had the thought of Mizzou playing Aldridge and Durant while they were on the same college team. I guess I didn't really want to sleep after all.

Why? You think Chris Mihm's younger version would help the Bulls?

That was the biggest win of the year IMO. Certainly the best road win....I know Phoenix but there was no Nash and Phoenix really isn't all that great without Nash.

Great to get that monkey off our backs against CLE. Finally Wallace played to at least some semblance of the level we thought we were getting when we signed him.

I didn't watch the game, but when I saw the box scores on the ESPN ticker this morning, I thought "They must've misprinted Wallace's stats."

This year's 31-25 record after 56 games is the best record the Bulls have had at this point of the season since 1998. They were 25-31 last year, and 29-27 in 2005.

unfortunately, some teams in the East are waking up and playing well. I'd bet that Toronto, Washington and Orlando have better records right now than last year too

I don't understand why he can't do that more often. He's big, strong, and judging by his defensive play athletic. Just put the ball in the hoop. Sounds stupid to say, but I don't understand why he can't do it more often.

He was a giant out there last night.

Cleveland didnt' play him well. They should have fouled him hard on every shot attempt and force him to shoot free throws. He had 2 or 3 uncontested layups

And others have fallen like stones -- New Jersey, Miami come to mind.

the point being that at one point this year, it looked like we'd be a lock for a #3 seed, and now we're better than last year and clawing for a #5

The Bulls are 2 games out of the 2 seed, a game and a half out of the 3. Fixating on the seeding of the moment is premature.

So true. We've already had 2 very long road trips (8+ games in a row on the road) and we have a solid record. Sometimes the negativity is really annoying. This is the best Bulls team we've seen in the past 9 years and some people still aren't happy and try to find every little thing to criticize. Get over it. It's a solid team that is only going to get better. We have some trading chips that can be used in the offseason to make a big move for a player like KG, who could put us over the hump. The East is wide open and we should have a good run in the playoffs. I'm just happy that playoff NBA basketball is back to being a yearly thing in Chicago.

Good point (that 1908 keeps mentioning too). Not only do the Bulls have a history of finishing the season strong, they also have an easy schedule here in the second half with no West Coast road trips.

who is criticizing? I simply stated that other Eastern Conference teams are also better than last year. That's no knock on the Bulls

Some other poster was saying for the past week how pax should be fired because he didnt draft roy. And then make some trade he wanted to see made where we lose Deng to get Gasol

Bulls up by 5 at the half.

Thabo and TT getting meaningful minutes (and of course the announcers fall in love with TT's leaping ability). Hinrich went to the locker injured but was back on the bench to end the half; Noc is out.
