I approve of the "Posey sucks" chant.

Just wondering why do the Bulls fans hate Posey so much? Besides the fact that he's a total d-bag,

That pretty much sums it up, he is a d-bag. Do we need another reason?

He's fouled three Bulls in very dirty ways. He tackled Hinrich, broke Ty Thomas' nose, and took out Luol Deng. He's a punk and a loser.

Clotheslined Hinrich in a blowout playoff loss last season. This season he tackled Luol Deng and broke Tyrus Thomas' nose in the home opener.

Ben Wallace with a left knee strain.

That's it? Looked like a seaon ender on TV.

Rex Grossman's initial diagnosis in 2005 during the halftime show of that preseason game was a sprained ankle. In 2004 it was a knee sprain.

I'd imagine it will take some further examination (i.e. MRI) to really tell what happened to Big Ben.

Yeah, hopefully it's just a strain, but I'm still worried about it.

Big win...now tied for 2nd in the Central with Cleveland (they're percentage points ahead, but still).

I have a good feeling Big Ben will be alright.

It's a three-way tie for first between the Piston, Cavs and Bulls in the Central, and all three teams are a half game behind the Wizards for best record in the Eastern conference.

Gordon's playing like an all-star lately.

Gordon's playing like an all-star pretty much since late November.

Fixed

Hopefully next year he gets the recognition that he's so richly earned this year - and Deng too. Both should've at least been in the discussion.

have the All Star reserves been named yet?

When will we know the severity of Big Ben's injury? Today?

Yeah, I know they said sprained knee.........it's never official until the MRIs. Looked much worse than that, unfortunately.

I know Wallace hasn't been all we expected but I'd still not want to lose him.

As BigSlick and others have pointed out, those initial diagnoses aren't much without the MRI (think Corey Patterson in 03, Rex Grossman, etc.).

I'm not too confident, I think it's a season-ender too. :?

Of course it had to be against the freaking Heat.

I know. Every time we play those guys we lose a player.

Jesus, it was bad enough when the Heat were winning. Now they suck and still beat us up. :?

On a brighter note, with the Cavs loss today, the Bulls jump them and move from 5th to 3rd in the East. If Washington loses to Boston (probably not), and Detroit loses to Indiana (very possibly), the Bulls will be tied for 1st in the conference, percentage points behind the Wizards. At the very least, a Detroit loss will put the Bulls alone on top of the Central.

We'll see how long that lasts after the 7 game west coast road trip coming up...
