Just picked up a pair of $10 seats on eBay for $50. Of course, they would have cost $35 through Ticketmaster, so the difference isn't that big. They're for the 12/23 game against the Bobcats in row 17 of 326 (last row?). That was actually the game I wanted because of the long weekend and not being sure about being able to make a weeknight game.

Ebay will probably have to be my route as well. I'm hoping for tickets to the 12/30 Cavs game or the 1/6 Pistons game, but my friend wants to see Adam Morrison for some reason so we might end up at that Bobcats game too.

Stubhub has a bunch already, but not really any cheaper than $30 per ticket.

I posted this on a Bulls forum that I post at but I figured I'd pose the question here:

Fun game:

Take away the projected Bulls starting 5 of Hinrich, Gordon, Deng, Brown, Wallace and take whats left and guess how many wins they would have over an NBA season

Your Roster:

C. Duhon, PG

T. Sefalosia, SG

A. Nocioni, SF

T. Thomas, PF

M. Sweetney, C

Bench:

A. Griffin, G-F

A. Barrett, G (camp invitee)

J. Varem, G-F (camp invitee)

V. Khryapa, SF

M. Allen, PF

L. Schenscher, C

M. Andriuskevicius, C

Couldn't be any worse then the post-dynasty years could it?

25 wins, with just the bench guys. It really is amazing how much depth we have this season.

And I guess Dore was on the Score today. He said that Khryapa is going to make quite the impression on Bulls fans. They've been quite impressed with him and Skiles and the rest of the coaching staff believe he is going to fit into the role that Songaila was in last year, relatively well.

Another thing that I got from the Bulls board I post on was about Shaq criticizing Ben Wallace in terms of Wallace complaining about his previous coaches. Shaq said something to the effect that we aren't going to be as good as we were last year. I guess he's forgetting that 2 of the 5 starters we had in the series against Miami are probably going to be the 11th and 12th men on our roster this season. Oh, by the way Shaq, we gave your team the strongest push in your championship season. To say we aren't going to be as good as we were last year is ludicrous.

Trade Luol for Channing Frye and a future first round pick plz.

Seriously, we're loaded at the three:

Nocioni

Tyrus

Griffin

Thabo can log a few minutes if need be.

Give yourself a front court of:

Wallace

Frye

PJB

Khryapa.

Gives you a load of depth, interior presence on the offensive side, and more size.

I bet Frye puts up around 15/8 this year. Would look nice here.

FWIW, I believe I read that Garrett was cut

Haha, I thought you said Garnett was cut for some reason. I was like "sign him up!"

Speaking of Garnett, with 4 SFs that look like they are going to deserve significant minutes, is it time to revisit a potential Garnett trade?

How about Deng, Gordon, PJ Brown (expiring contract), 1st (top 8 protected) for Garnett.

Yes thats a lot of talent to give up, and I'm not even sure it fits under the cap unless we sign Deng to an extension firstm but its worth thinking about. Why?

Hinrich

Thabo/Duhon

Nocioni

Garnett

Wallace

Bench

Thabo/Duhon

Griffin

Thomas

Khryapa

Sweetney

Allen

That Marty guy

Yes, our bench is weakened, but we have solid bench at the 3-4. With Garnett on the team, he can easily replace Gordon's scoring, and give us frontcount dominance, etc etc

Hahaha, this picture from Paint the Town Red just had to be posted.

Why give up three assets for Garnett? Then you're looking at two rookies getting significant minutes (25-30 a game).

Deng for Frye and a first rounder, Zeke would love it.

Did it go in?

9 rebounds in 20 minutes. Who cares.

Thomas had a game-tying shot with 5 seconds left that forced the OT. He finished with 13 points and 8 boards.

Andre Barrett then hit a couple of big shots in OT to give the Bulls the win. Supposedly Barrett is looking pretty good over the course of the first two games. Small sample size, but I've heard he can make the team in the role that Pargo has been used in over the last two years.

Reading responses from the Bulls board that I'm on, Thabo again looked a little tentative. But his stat line sounds pretty solid: 10 points, 5 boards, 6 assists.

Bulls beat Memphis yesterday 87-78. TT led the Bulls with 12 points. Big Ben hauled in another 9 boards and Luol chipped in with 10 points. Bulls shot 57% from the field. Martin Andriuskevicius scored all of his 11 points in a 3 minute span in the 4th quarter.

Man the team is looking good, as in contending for the eastern title good. I know it is early, but their defense is rock solid. Drafting and acquiring quality players is making for a great team.

Holy crap, we beat the Spurs by 32!!! And we held the Spurs to only 8 points in the 3rd quarter! I know it's preseason, but wow. Anytime you can beat a team like the quality of the Spurs by that much and hold them to only 67 points is sensational.
