I know that ND's strength of schedule is a favorite topic every year, but can I point out that Penn State is about to play it's 3rd top-4* team in 7 games?

 

 

* - top 4 at time of game

If this were ND we'd probably still be talking about this in 4 pages, but I expect mine to be one of the last comments made about this. :lol:

As the game gets close i get more worried about UM at PSU. Just because you have a little #4 next to your name and the other team doesnt have a little number doesnt mean the game is a given. IT just isnt. Michigan has better balance on offense than PSU but the longer the game goes with the score close the less that will matter. IF UM can jump on PSU early then i will feel supremely confident. Until then i dont. PSU has a good defense, the ND game just unraveled for them. I think UM can contain Hunt pretty well, just cant make big mistakes on offense or defense.

Louisville's gotta be the biggest West Virginia fans in the world.

 

I think they are each others biggest fans right now. I still think Louisville is one of the 3 top teams in the country. WV, top 7 at worst.

For me, it's all about the crowd. The game is at 8pm, meaning most of the crowd will have been drinking for, oh, 10-12 hours by kickoff. My house is 3 miles from Beaver Stadium, and last year I could hear the crowd at the OSU game from my backyard. I expect the same level of insanity this year. Plus it's going to be COLD. UM needs to quiet the crowd early. If PSU scores first, it's gonna be a tough environment for the Wolverines

I've been really hoping that Syracuse can challenge WV today-Syracuse takes the early 7-0 lead.

 

Well, WV responds immediately with a Pat White 69 yard TD run. 7-7.

17-14 WV after a Syracuse TD now. Syracuse has to at least pretend that they are trying to stop the run though-WV has 200 yards on the ground already, and it's 3 minutes before halftime.

And then WVU gets two touchdowns in the second half to take a 31-14 lead.

Kaipo-Noa Kaheaku-Enhada is Navy's QB today.

 

Yeah, I heard that the Navy QB broke his leg. That's terrible for them as he was probably the key to their season, and of course how terrible it is for him personally.
