Says he was never unsupportive of Dusty, thought that when we played well in June/July that we could make a run til DLee got hurt again.

It's pretty obvious by Hendry's comments that the coaches are gone. He said, among other things, "It's not appropriate for me to comment without talking to them first."

The coaches haven't been decided on yet?!

Geeeeeeeeeeeeeeez...

Hendry is weak minded.

He is incapable of making a decision, sticking to it, and carrying it out. He was wishy washy on Baker all year, and now that he's finally gone, he doesn't have the balls to even speak of the rest of the staff. That's just absurd.

Not only that but he's too emotionally involved, with players and coaches.

I wonder what color the sky is in Jim's fantasy world.

But why hasn't he talk to them yet? What's he waiting for?

Damnit Jim, fire them now and talk to them later.

"I have made myself available for the coaches to come by today or tomorrow."

If Hendry really cared what was the best interest of this organization he would have resigned. He better think outside the box and stop signing mediocre players and making the right trades.

Cripes, the way he's talking about Dusty, you'd think we just hired him.

it's still early, remeber Ken Mocha/A's last offseason

This press conference is sounding like Jim Hendry's love letter to Dusty Baker.

Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww...

No doubt.

I want to hear about tomorrow, not how much you respect Dusty. This does not bode well for those who are hoping for big time changes by Hendry. It's as if he doesn't understand there needs to be changes, and that he's only reluctantly canning Dusty because he still thinks the previous plan was fine.
