Alright, expectations have moved up from "score a point" to "don't give up more than 300 yards rushing". I'm really putting the pressure on, Tampa.

Who'd have thought a month ago that this game would be a matchup of winless teams? Depressing.

Chris Gamble...try not to pull any stupid lateral crap when your team is in complete control of the game this week. Thank you. If Carolina loses this I'll be inconsolable.

It's not been a real great start to the football season for ya huh?

I think the Bengals can beat Pittsburgh, won't be easy though. Cincy doesn't have the same caliber of Defense that Jacksonville has, but theyre not terrible. Although losing David Pollack will hurt them.

Cincy won in Pittsburgh last year.

Jax/Indy game of the day. Jax played the Colts really tough last year, especially in Indy when they confused the hell out of Peyton Manning. I would love to see a Strouderson sammich on Peyton Manning. They really made Big Ben their rag doll this past week. Keep it up against an inferior offensive line fellas!

I agree, I can smell upset here.

If the game was in Jacksonville, maybe. But not in Indy.

GO BENGALS GO

god i hate the steelers so much

One of my favorite parts of the Steelers Super Bowl Champions DVD is where they show the Bengals celebrating after beating the Steelers in Pittsburgh. They're talking copious amounts of trash to the fans, T.J. Houshmfaidhrfad;lfheh is polishing his cleats with a terrible towel, they are doing that ridiculous Who Dey crap, you get the idea. Then we get to the playoff game highlights, and you know the rest.

I think Cincy is still a year or two away, though they have a chance to put the Steelers in an early 1-2 hole. I'll be watching this game in Las Vegas, as I am heading there tomorrow.

I'm going to pick the Jags to beat the Colts.

People have been predicting that every game for 3 years...and the Colts have won 5 out of 6 against the Jags in that span :D

No, really though, the Jaguars even though they have only won that 1 game have played us tough each game the last few years. Their downfall has usually been that they could not keep Leftwich protected. If they do a better job of that, their running game has always been very good against the Colts. Also, Mathis is very prone to giving up the double move-Harrison usually burns him for a back breaking catch or two.

Some injury news to report though from Indianapolis-MRI's are still not back for several players-Dwight Freeney, Adam Vinatieri, Brandon Stokely-their availability for this weekend is unknown. Add in Corey Simon who is still trying to come back, and those could be some key losses for the Colts in a very tough game.

 Kerry Collins is going to start for the Titans again.

so sad. Kerry was so good for the 1994 undefeated PSU team, but he's now bounced from Carolina to New York to Oakland to Tennessee, all with moderate to no success. Sigh.

Last year in Indy, Peyton threw for only 122 yards. The running game was solid, but without Edge there, I don't know how successful they will be running the ball. Their secondary is loaded with big (good tackling..)hitters who are gonna frustrate the finesse receivers all day. Early line has Indy -7. That's a gutsy call after they just shutout the Steelers.

Now the Jags gotta score some points :D

The Steeler D the Jags faced on Monday was better than the one they'll see from Indy on Sunday.

Yeah. Peyton also threw for 324 yards in Jacksonville later in the year.

And I do know my earlier point was that the game was in Indy and that's why I thought Indy was going to win.

We'll have to wait and see. It should be a very good game and hopefully that game will be televised out here. Looking at the schedule, San Diego and Oakland don't play and the 49ers play the later game. Hopefully CBS will do the smart thing and show this game.

You laugh because you're not a fan, show some respect to us poor souls. :)

This may be an ugly game with Culpepper still trying to remember how to play and the Titans just sucking. At least we've got an extra sixth round pick after trading Billy Volek to the Chargers.

Titans 0, Dolphins 2 Collins and Culpepper combine for 4 fumbles and 6 picks

If I'm going to get a full TD to pick the Jags, I may have to lay some money on this game.
