I am really sad!!!!!!!!!!! Though Stanton does deserve some blame I would rather put most of it on the coaching. Sadly MSU got most of the breaks tonight and still pulled defeat from the jaws of victory.

Nothing beats that fumble. Not only did he fail to consider sliding, but he carried it the entire time with just one arm around the ball.

This only confirms to me how overrated ND is. Elite teams don't give up points like that D does.

I really think it was a mistake to start a more conservative play calling for most of the 2nd half. MSU started it in the 1st half by not calling timeouts and trying to score again before half. Than when they really needed the offense to do something they really hadnt run there complete offense since the 2nd quarter. Sadly ND defense is going to get way too much credit for this victory when it was really there offense and Smith going way to conservative.
