Jordan Morris is super fast, finishes calmly, has a prematurely receding hairline and dishes cliches in a nasally drone.

When God retires a Landon he opens a window.

Bradley was everywhere tonight. Man of the match. Yedlin, Mix and Beckerman also stood out.

Agudelo has the best first touch of any of our forwards and is real competition for Jozy's spot, not to mention better than Johannson and co.

Agudelo's first touch was great.

Morris isn't committing to Seattle, is that right? He's looking at Europe unless I'm thinking of someone else. Either way, a very cool finish he had.

Yeah, he's a Seattle home grown but I bet he goes to Europe first. I think the Sounders having the depth of attacking options they have has played a part in his not going pro. He'd be behind Dempsey, Martins, Neagle and Pappa. I know he trains with them in the summer and is in contact with Sigi about his options.

Since we won't play them again until we reach this threshold, it's safe to say the USMNT hasn't lost to Mexico for 4 years.

I've seen some news article comments by Europeans saying that the MLS is also nice because it fills the late night hours with some kind of sport.

Following the league this year has been some good fun at times. The expansion clubs seem to do a lot to balance a lot of the fan focus from the NW and there's some distinct team identities around the league which make for interesting matches.

Andrea Canales with a great twitter rant re: Klinsy

@soccercanales "Andrea Canales retweeted RealSoccerFC

Again, JK makes a virtue of any failure, stagnancy in his tenure as part of the "cost" of his soccer revolution."

That Martins first touch and finish is just absurd, I don't even think I could come up with the idea to try that in a video game, never mind perfectly execute it.

If Sarvas isn't suspended multiple games for either stomping on Clint's nuts or kicking him on a different play when he was down, there's something wrong with the MLS DisCo.

Also, I love Andrea Canales when she gets all self-righteous. She helped get Bradley fired after the 2011 Gold Cup. Here's hoping she does something similar with JK.

I don't think Celtic or Rangers fans have any reason to bitch about anything ever in that 2 team league. Especially now that its a 1 team league.

All of Porto's work from a week ago undone in 28 minutes in Munich. 3-0 Bayern already.

EDIT: 5-0 Bayern after 40 minutes.

Stupid Real Madrid.

Javier Hernandez seems really out of place as a genuinely good dude on the world's biggest collection of egos.

Can UEFA rig it so we don't get a Barca-Real semi? I don't need two legs of rolling on the ground and every player but the goalies and the player on the ground surrounding the referee after every semi-hard foul.

US 3-0 over Mexico in u-23. Morris scored and ran their back line ragged all night. Univision gave him man of the match but Cropper deserved it. Could've easily been 3-0 if not for some spectacular blocked shots.

It was funny, in the second half the commentators were arguing over whether or not you're allowed to compare anyone to Donovan. Color guy kept saying Morris reminds him of LD in his young San Jose days. Pbp guy wasn't having it.

Mexico had better possession in the first half but in the second half their legs just failed them vs the U.S. fitness, size and speed. Couple of TM set pieces.

Holy crap, Montreal got an away goal at Azteca.

Wow, 1-1 is a better result than I could have imagined. I completely forgot the match was this week with all of the Cubs buzz.

Thank goodness they have Kronberg to fill in for the suspended Bush. Dykstra's performance against Alajuelense for DC United is still a bad memory when it comes to backup MLS goalkeepers.

Olympic Stadium sold out (59,000) for the final in Montreal.

Really liking Cropper, hopefully he sees some time next season with Southhampton. I think I'm more excited for the Olympic team next year than the Copa team we will field.

Barcelona-Bayern

Juve-Real

Would rather Real faced Bayern but at least the Spanish teams don't play until the final.

After their win today, AFC Bournemouth will play in the top flight in England for the first time ever next year.

So, I missed how Kronberg is cup tied due to playing for SKC last year. So, Montreal got Kristian Nicht from the Indy Eleven to play GK tonight. He's got some Bundesliga experience nearly a decade ago and sat on the bench during Alemannia Aachen's UEFA Cup way back when. Much better choice than some USL fodder. I heard today that the Sean Johnson transfer was pretty much set to happen until all of the blowback came from the rumor.

That would've been the most MLS thing in the history of MLS things.
