Nah, they loan guys out all the time. Even when they're not as deep as they are now they do it. Kroos, Alaba, they're talking about it for Shaquiri...this is a big part of their process and has been for decades. They raise them and in that tricky 18-23 age group, if they don't have a need they loan them out. Bring them back if they've proven themselves.

 

I was shocked when they said they weren't going to. I think Green can be really good, but not a mega star. By not loaning him I thought it meant they thought he could contribute now which would indicate: mega star. This confirms my suspicion that he's Bayern quality but not quite yet. Think this is a great move. Hamburg is a great club.

Nice! I'm going to Spokane via Seattle and am stopping to see the season finale like a week later on the 26th. Dempsey vs Donovan is a great way to say goodbye to LD.

It's really annoying that stuff 10x worse happens on every corner kick and never gets called but that crappy grab on Allen gets a PK. And [expletive] Phil Dowd wasn't consistent later when Adebayor got his shirt blatantly tugged in the box and Dowd didn't give a PK.

 

Spurs didn't deserve to win anyway, just frustrating. Oh well. I guess it's good we didn't completely capitulate like last year.

 

Related note, I still hate Andros Townsend. He's like David Eckstein. He runs around a bunch and is fast and tries hard but ultimately nothing good comes of it.

He gets in good positions. I'm sure he'd slam in more than a few CR-JR-GB rebounds? They'd sell a billion jerseys. It'd be dirt cheap.

 

 

Defoe might be sold to QPR. Bradley needs to get out of there but no one else will pay him his salary.
