i watched arsenal, liverpool, and chelsea this weekend. chelsea scored that amazing goal and was the most fun in general, although it it does seem like the team they were playing was real trash.

I wouldn't call Burnley real trash, but they are an ability level below Chelsea and it showed (despite their efforts).

Chelsea looked lethal in the first half after being stung by the early goal, but also looked bored and uninterested towards the end of the game.

Their matches against top opponents will probably be fun though.

I'm really optimistic that Fabregas, an actual finisher in Costa and the young guns Shurrle and Hazard might bring out old, fun Mourinho this year. I hope they run away with the league, Jose talks the most [expletive] ever and Fabregas wins the Balon d'Or. Hopefully they win the Champions League and steam roll Bayern and Real in the process.

This is why I like being a European Club agnostic. I can jump on and off bandwagons at will.

Only £16,000,000 and Balotelli is going to Anfield.

The PL is going to rule this year. What a fun signing . AC Milan is officially a tire fire.

@arlowhite: And if Liverpool shift Borini out, and get Balotelli in, for a £2M net loss, Ian Ayre deserves a statue outside of Anfield. #LFC

1- agreed

2- could be bad for Jozy.

SAFC was going to be bad for Jozy even before any hypothetical Borini move; that team is a dumpster fire and he was stupid to have gone there in the first place.

I want Americans to stay the hell away from mid-table or lower EPL teams. Attackers go to Holland for a year. Defenders and mids go to either the Bundesliga or Serie A if possible.

Liverpool are going to be fun to watch.

@sterling31: Good to see my boy @marcPelosi back on the pitch #Baller

Marc Pelosi is healthy again. That's big.

Julian Green on the Bayern bench. I guess Pep was serious about wanting him around.

ManU bought Di Maria for over $100M. Top-5 transfer fee all-time and easily the biggest paid by an English club.

On the good side, they tied Sunderland today.

Desperate to not miss out on the CL two years in a row. Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham, Everton, and ManU are basically playing for the last two spots.

Also given the stupid money being spent how much are Messi or CR7 worth today? Tottenham could have probably gotten $150 million for Bale today.

I know it was only QPR at home but man Spurs looked good today. Only had one game last year where they scored three in the first half - the last game of the year against Villa and even then one was an own goal and a second was a penalty. The trio of Chadli-Lamela-Eriksen behind the forward looked really good.

Next Sunday, home to Liverpool will be a good game and a good test to see exactly where this team is at.

Related note, having 6-7 good teams in the EPL is great for the schedule. Pretty much every weekend there's a game between two of those teams.

LOLUnited.

Going to get knocked out of the League Cup by a 3rd division side.

That's great. It wasn't their first team but still had De Gea, Evans, Kagawa, Anderson, Welbeck and Hernandez out there. Embarrassing for ManU.
