DeAndre Yedlin will move to Rome. The operation is completed, the last details have been settled: Seattle Sounders will receive $5M, the player will stay in the MLS at least until January. Then, Roma will decide whether to leave him on loan to Seattle until the end of the season or “park” him to another Italian team to facilitate the adaptation to Serie A. Roma have beaten the competition from Napoli and Inter.

Zelalem starting for Arsenal. The way Wenger has been so effusively playing along with the media covering Zelalem as a US prospect makes me think that he knows something.

 

We need a media event where he sits at a table with a Germany hat and a US hat in front of him and declares officially.

Omar just cleaned out Yedlin after the whistle then shoved Deuce.

A) why?

B) I like this.

USMNT rivalry.

 

Yedlin forearmed Delagarza and then Gonzo knocked him down and nearly went full Pepe on him. Clint was right to shove that loveable oaf.

 

The better part was during the setpiece when Omar was trying to smile and joke and Clint just kept swearing at him and shoving him

Seattle needs to get another CM; Pineda and Alonso aren't going to hold up all year. The SSFC mids were awful last night.

Tough to find a proven PL scorer at that age, at that price. Think they'll sell him for significantly higher in a few years. In the £35+ range.

Jermaine Jones to the Fire at 3mil/per. He's gonna open up some space for Shipp & Magee.

 

Can't wait for pics of him and Cutler at Paris Club.
